Structural composition:
Glass insulators are usually composed of iron caps, tempered glass pieces, and steel feet, which are bonded together with cement adhesive.
Jiangxi Huayao electric Co.,ltd produce standard type glass insulator 40-550Kn, Pollution resistant type 70-400Kn, mutil-umbrella type 120-330kN, Glass insulator aerodynamic type 120-300kN, ground wire type.
The special shape of this insulator can also guide the air flow, so that the air flow on the surface of the insulator is more smooth. The Production process flow:
The production process of glass insulators in Jiangxi Huayao Electric Co.,Ltd is as follows:
Mix raw material=>melt glass liquid=>press to glass insulator shape=> tempering treatment=>cold and shock test=> Glue assembly=> routine test and other test=> Finished products package.

Standard of glass insulator:
The tests have been performed in accordance with:GB/T1001.1-2021 Insulators for overhead lines with a norminal voltage above 1000V Part1: Ceramic or glass insulator units for a.c. systems Definitions, test methods and acceptance criteria (IEC 60383-1:2021 MOD)
GB/7253-2019 Insulator for overhead lines with a nominal voltage above 1000V-Ceramic or glass insulator units for a.c. systems-Characteristics of insulator units of cap and pin type (IEC 60305:2021 MOD)
IEC 60383-1:2023 Insulators for overhead lines with a norminal voltage above 1000V
IEC 60120:2020 Dimensions of ball and socket couplings of string insulator units
Jiangxi Huayao electric Co.,ltd strictly compliance with above standard. We do the factory test report as above standard.
Huayao always do following test for each products:
1.Verification of the Dimensions
Surface defects: the surface of the glass insulator shall be smooth and free of creases, pores, cracks, lack of glaze, spots, burning marks and other defects. The diameter of bubbles in the glass parts shall not be greater than 5mm.
Overall dimensions: Overhead line insulators with nominal voltage higher than 1000V Part I: Porcelain or Glass Insulator Components for AC Systems-Definitions, Test Methods and Judgment Criteria GB/T 1001.1-2003 and other standards to ensure that the iron caps, insulators and steel legs of the insulators are on the same axis without obvious skew
2. Verifications of Displacements

According to JB/T 8177-1999 and other standards, the thickness of galvanized layer shall be measured by magnetic thickness gauge, which shall meet the thickness requirements specified in the standard to ensure good corrosion resistance of metal acce

According to GB/T 1001.1-2003 and other standards, apply a certain mechanical tension or pressure to the insulator until it is damaged, and measure its damage load value to check whether the mechanical strength of the insulator meets the design requirements to ensure that it is in normal operation and certain overload. Mechanical damage will not occur under the condition
7.Power frequency puncture withstand test
According to GB/T 772-2005 and other standards, the insulator is placed in the specified high and low temperature cycle environment. After multiple cycles, check whether its appearance, insulation performance and mechanical performance have changed, and check its stability and reliability under different temperature conditions, so as to simulate the temperature change that the insulator may experience in actual operation.
