The production process of glass insulators in the company is as follows:
Ingredients: Ingredients refer to the uniform mixing of different raw materials according to a certain ratio. Currently, a forced vertical mixer is generally used for ingredient preparation. The key to ingredients is the uniformity of mixing different raw materials.
Melting: Melting refers to the process of heating ingredients at high temperatures to form a uniform glass liquid, while clarification refers to the exhaust treatment of the liquid formed by melting raw materials.
Pressing: After melting and clarification, the glass liquid enters the pressing process through the feeding system, that is, the glass is hydraulically made into glass insulation parts, usually achieved through a fully automatic hydraulic forming machine. The pressing shape is controlled by the glass mold, and the amount of glass liquid used to press one insulator is also controlled to ensure the consistency of the insulator product.
Tempering: Subsequently, the glass piece is subjected to tempering treatment, which means controlled cooling of the glass piece to obtain permanent surface prestress. The equipment involved in the tempering process includes temperature equalization furnaces, tempering machines, etc.
Cold and hot shock: Tempered glass pieces undergo cold and hot shock tests, using a special nickel sulfide treatment furnace and a special nickel sulfide elimination process to homogenize the glass pieces. The quality of the nickel sulfide removal process directly affects the important indicator of the glass insulator after operation - the self explosion rate.
Glue assembly: Use an assembly machine with steel foot positioning assistance to assemble and glue the insulator insulation parts, steel feet, and steel caps. This step requires attention to ensuring the coaxiality of the steel feet, insulation parts, and steel caps. Poor coaxiality can also lead to high self explosion rates. Inspection: Conduct a 50% tensile load test on the glass insulators that have been glued together, check the height of the insulator structure, etc., to ensure that the insulators meet the standard requirements.
