- A.Size deviation of disc suspension insulator
Unless otherwise specified, the size deviation of the insulator shall be as follows (d is the size to be inspected, mm), indicating the allowable deviation from the value guaranteed by the bidder (see the special part of the technical specification) during the insulator manufacturing process:
- 1）Structural height deviation: ±(0.03d +0.3)mm.
for example, the structural height of U70BS glass insulator is 146mm, the height deviation is 0.03 * 146mm 0.3=4.68mm, and the structural height of U70BS is 146mm±4.68
- 2）Disc diameter deviation: when d≤ 300, ±(0.04d +1.5)mm; when d>300, ±(0.025d +6)mm.
For example, the disc diameter of U70BS glass insulator is 255mm, the disc diameter deviation is 0.04 * 255mm 1.5=11.7mm, and the disc diameter of U70BS is 255mm± 11.7
- 3）Creepage distance deviation: ±(0.04d +1.5)mm, and the average creepage distance of the tested insulator shall not be less than the nominal creepage distance.
For example, the disc diameter of U70BS glass insulator is 320mm, the disc diameter deviation is 0.04 * 320mm 1.5=14.3mm, and the disc diameter of U70BS is 320mm ±14.3, But its average creepage distance should not be less than the nominal creepage distance.
- 4）Offset: the axial offset is not more than 0.04D mm(D is the nominal disk diameter of the insulator, mm); the radial offset is not more than 0.03D mm;
For example, the disc diameter of U70BS glass insulator is 320mm, its axial offset is not more than 0.04*255mm = 10.2mm, and its radial offset is not more than 0.03*255=7.65mm.
- 5）6 pieces/string structure height deviation: ± 19mm.
For example, the height of U70BS glass insulator is 146mm, and the height deviation of 6 pieces/string structure is 6*146mm 19, which is 876mm ±19

- B.Dimension deviation of ground wire insulator
The size deviation of the insulator shall meet the following requirements (d is the inspection size, in mm):
1) Structural height deviation: ±(0.03d +0.3)mm.
2) Disc diameter deviation: ±(0.04d +1.5)mm (d≤ 300);
±(0.025d +6)mm(d >300).
3) Nominal creepage distance deviation: ±(0.04d +1.5)mm.
The 120kN ground wire insulator shall be coordinated with the connecting fittings and meet the requirements of GB/T 2315.
